First rehearsal of Polling staff of Bathinda constituency conducted
Nearly 7000 polling staff attending the rehearsal
Bathinda, 4 May: For the successful conduct of Lok Sabha elections 2024, today master trainers conducted the first rehearsal of the polling staff of the Bathinda constituency under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Jaspreet Singh. During the rehearsal, nearly 7000 polling staff was present in all six Legislative assembly seats. Training was also given regarding EVM-VVPAT.
A total of 1814 polling stations would be made for successful conduct of elections.
Addressing the master trainers and polling staff at various places, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-additional district election officer Latif Ahmed , Nodal Officer, Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and Complaint cell-cum-Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Rahul encouraged the staff to contribute to fair and peaceful conduct of elections in the constituency by following the guidelines of the Election Commission.
The rehearsal for 90-Assembly constituency Rampura Phul was held at Multi-purpose Hall, Punjabi University Campus, Rampura Phul while the rehearsal for 91- Assembly constituency Bhuchho Mandi and 92-Assembly constituency Bathinda (Urban) was conducted at IHM and Business School, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Technical University respectively. For 93-Assembly constituency Bathinda (Rural) and 94-Assembly constituency Talwandi Sabo was held at Multipurpose hall , Maharaja Ranjit Singh Technical University and Dashmesh School respectively. For 95-Assembly constituency Maur, the training was conducted at Girls School, Maur.
Officers including Additional Deputy-Commissioner-cum-ARO,Bathinda, Lovejeet Kalsi, RTA -cum-ARO, Bhuchoo Mandi, Poonam Singh, SDM-cum-ARO, Bathinda (Urban), Inayat, SDM-cum-ARO, Talwandi Sabo, Harjinder Singh Jassal, SDM-cum-ARO, Rampura Phul, Kanwarjeet Singh, SDM-cum-ARO, Maur, Narinder Singh Dhaliwal were present during the rehearsal.
