Stay updated on the latest advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police regarding the Farmers March scheduled for February 13. As the city prepares for this significant event, it’s essential to heed the guidance provided to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety for all commuters. This advisory aims to provide clear instructions and insights into the traffic arrangements and potential diversions implemented to accommodate the march. Let’s delve into the details of the Delhi Traffic Police Farmers March Advisory to navigate through the city with ease and efficiency.
Ahead of the ‘Chalo Delhi’ march planned by farmers for February 13, the Delhi Traffic Police Farmers March Advisory issued a traffic advisory on Sunday, notifying commuters about vehicle movement constraints at three borders of the national capital. Numerous farmer associations, primarily from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab, have organized the march on February 13 to advocate for legislation ensuring Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their crops, one of the conditions they stipulated when agreeing to end their protest in 2021.
According to the Delhi Traffic Police Farmers March Advisory, traffic restrictions and diversions will commence for commercial vehicles from Monday, followed by all vehicle types from Tuesday.
Interstate buses usually traveling along NH-44 toward northern cities such as Sonipat, Panipat, and Karnal will be redirected through alternative routes, including ISBT, Majnu Ka Tilla, Signature Bridge, Khajuri Chowk, Loni Border, and the KMP Expressway via Khekra.
