Farmers plan to march to Delhi on February 13, urging the Centre to meet demands, including MSP guarantee. Samyukta Kisan Morcha leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal stated over 200 farmers’ unions will join the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march.
Ahead of the march, authorities in Haryana and Delhi fortified borders with concrete blocks, road spike barriers, and barbed wires, deploying thousands of police personnel and imposing prohibitory orders.

01. Farmers from neighboring states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab are anticipated to arrive in Delhi on February 13 as part of their planned ‘Delhi Chalo March,’ seeking legislation to ensure Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their crops.
02. Ahead of the farmers’ ‘Chalo Delhi’ march slated for February 13, the Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory on Sunday:
It informed commuters about vehicle movement restrictions at three borders of the national capital.
However, at the Singhu Border, traffic restrictions/diversions will be enforced today for commercial vehicles and from Tuesday for all vehicle types, it noted.
03. Today, three union ministers – Arjun Munda, Nityanand Rai, and Piyush Goyal – will meet with leaders of farmers’ organizations.
The initial meeting took place on Thursday. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher stated that the Centre has invited them for a discussion on their demands on February 12.
04. The Haryana government has enforced Section 144 of the CrPC, prohibiting gatherings of five or more people.
Additionally, authorities have sealed the state’s border with Punjab in various locations across Ambala, Jind, and Fatehabad districts using:
