At 8 am, President Droupadi Murmu will proudly raise the national flag at Kartavya Path. The theme for Republic Day 2024 is ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Loktatantra ki Matruka’.

The grand parade, starting at 10:30 am (IST) from Vijay Chowk in New Delhi, will follow the route from Vijay Chowk to Kartavya Path, passing through Rashtrapati Bhawan and Rajpath. The venue is set to host around 77,000 attendees, with 42,000 spots reserved for the general public.

The parade promises to be a spectacle, featuring captivating tableaus that showcase India’s rich cultural history, traditions, and heritage.
