MCX Holiday on Republic Day 2024:
As per information available on MCXIndia.com, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain closed for both the morning and evening trading sessions on Republic Day 2024. The morning session typically spans from 9 am to 5 pm, while the evening sessions occur between 5 pm and 11:30 to 11:55 pm.

Equities segment trading is operational every day of the week, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and pre-declared holidays by the Exchange. The market timings for the equities segment are as follows:
- A) During the pre-open session, order entry and modification are permitted from 09:00 hrs to 09:08 hrs, with a random closure in the last one minute. Pre-open order matching commences promptly after the conclusion of pre-open order entry.
- B) In the regular trading session, the normal/limited physical market opens at 09:15 hrs and closes at 15:30 hrs.
- C) The Closing Session occurs between 15:40 hrs and 16:00 hrs.
- D) For the Block Deal Session, the morning window operates from 08:45 AM to 09:00 AM, and the afternoon window operates from 02:05 PM to 02:20 PM.
