Ayodhya, Jan 22: Popular singer Sonu Nigam sang parts of the Ramcharitmanas before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

Sonu Nigam was the first to come on stage and sang the bhajan ‘Ram Siya Ram’ in his beautiful voice. Following him, Anuradha Paudwal and Kavita Paudwal sang a soulful Ram bhajan together. Shankar Mahadevan then mesmerized the audience with the rendition of ‘Shri Ramachandra Kripalu Bhajman.’

After the performance, Sonu Nigam, with tears in his eyes, said, “Right now, there’s nothing more to say, only my tears can express it.” The 50-year-old singer wore a beige-colored kurta with matching pants and a shawl for the occasion.
