Bathinda: 09 Oct 23: With a vision of Connecting New India, Alliance Air commences flights from Bathinda (Bhissiana) Aitrport to New Delhi from 09 oct 23. The flight will operate from New Delhi (Terminal 3) to Bathinda and then proceed back to New delhi (T-3) thrice a week – i.e on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Departure time from New Delhi is at 1325 hrs and from Bathinda is at 1505 hrs.
The Airline will operate ATR-72 aircraft on this route which shall take about 01:15 hrs (one way) to New Delhi. On 09 Oct 23 the flight was flown by Captain Gaurav Preet Singh Brar and Senior First officer Anshul Rishiraj. Capt Brar who hails from near by Sri Muktsar Sahib district when contacted informed that such an initiative by Alliance Air will boost trade and tourism in the region and contribute to the economic development of the region in line with the hon’ble Prime Minister’s Atmanirbhar Initiative.
The flight is commenced as a part of Govt of India’s RCS Udan Scheme and is an endeavour by the Alliance Air to provide last mile connectivity to the Tier-2/Tier – 3 cities. The introductory all-inclusive fares for Delhi-Bathinda & Bathinda – Delhi will be INR 1999/-
