2469 corona victims return home after recovery

Total 45200 samples taken so far in the district

The Deputy Commissioner of the district, Shri.Srinivasan said that so far 45200 samples have been taken in the district under COVID-19 out of which a total of 4107 positive cases have been reported, out of which 2469 corona victims have recovered and returned to their homes A total of 1019 cases are active in the state and 546 cases have been shifted to other districts besides 73 corona affected persons have died in the district so far.

The Deputy Commissioner further said that during the last 24 hours, 107 positive, 554 negative and 85 corona patients returned to their respective homes after recovering.
