1557 Returning home after defeated corona

Total 34209 samples taken so far in the district

34209 samples were taken in the district under COVID-19, out of which a total of 2606 positive cases were reported, out of which 1557 corona victims recovered and returned to their respective homes. At present a total of 667 cases are active in the district and 346 cases have been shifted to other districts besides 36 corona affected persons have died in the district so far. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner Shri. Srinivasan shared. The Deputy Commissioner further said that in the last 24 hours, 112 patients with Positive 112, 360 with Negative and 116 with Corona returned to their respective homes after recovery.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the residents of the district to keep a distance from each other and wear face masks to avoid corona virus. He said that at the same time they must wash their hands frequently with soap or sanitizer.
