Diwang people make their own cards to get cheap food – Tevaspreet Kaur

Applications can be submitted till August 31 at the District Food Supply Controller’s Office

District Social Security Officer Dr. Tevaspreet Kaur said that under the Antodia scheme of National Food Security Act, now BPL He said that the card holders as well as the disabled persons would also get cheaper foodgrains. He said that to avail the benefits of this scheme, persons with 40 percent and above disabilities could submit their application till August 31 at the office of the District Food Supply Controller.

Disclosing this here today the District Social Security Officer said that the government also provides pulses and rice at cheaper rates to avail the benefits of the scheme. People working for the welfare of Diwang people are very happy with this plan of the government.
