Changes in Income Tax Laws under Faceless Scheme

The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on August 13 amended the Income Tax Act, which has been termed as Faceless Assessment. This eliminates the direct link between the taxpayer and the income tax officer. This information was shared by the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Mr. Bikram God (IRS) and Additional Commissioner Income Tax Mr. Vivek Agarwal (IRS) through an online meeting.
During the online meeting, he apprised the income tax officers, employees, traders and other organizations of CA. He apprised the organization etc. about this faceless scheme and at the same time informed his officers about the implementation of this scheme.
To create awareness about this scheme, Mr. Rishwa Sabo, CA. Chairman North Indian Regional Council Bathinda Branch and Mr. Natish Garg Secretary District Bar Association Bathinda thanked on behalf of the members of their respective organizations. He also said that this change would prove to be a milestone for the development of the country and at the same time would inspire the common man to pay his income tax.
