Public parks and sports stadiums can be opened , but congestion will remain

District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. B. Srinivasan has issued new orders amending the earlier orders issued in view of Corona. According to the newly issued orders, sports complexes and stadiums can now be opened in the district, but the spectators will not be able to gather in them. Public parks may also be open, but no gatherings will be allowed in these parks.

According to the orders issued by the Deputy Commissioner, gyms can also be opened but in view of the Corona epidemic, the rules laid down by the Government of India and the Department of Health and Family Welfare must be followed. Similarly, e-commerce, courier and postal services will remain open for seven days. These orders will remain in force in the district till August 31, 2020. Strict legal action will be taken against those who violate the orders issued.
