Bathinda, August 22(Jagmeet chahal)                       District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Shri B. Srinivasan has issued orders as per the directions issued by the Punjab Government in the wake of Corona Virus Epidemic and declared various areas of the district as Micro Containment Zones and removal of Micro Containment Zones from some areas. Announced.

As per the orders issued, the district magistrate said that the D.D. Mittal Tower, Amarpura Basti Street No. 3 and 5 announced the removal of the first micro containment zone. With no new cases in the removed areas, normal activities will now be possible here.

As per another order issued by the District Magistrate, Ganpati Enclave House No. 401-410, Kamla Nehru Colony House No. 200-540, Baba Deep Singh Nagar Street No. 3/6 and HDFC Back Rampura Phool and Sani Mandir Wali Gali Rampur Phool Micro Containment Zone was announced.

He said that these areas would remain as micro containment zones for next 10 days, which would be extended for 5 days after the arrival of new cases. Suspicious patients with symptoms will be identified so that they can be provided with the required health facilities in time. During this time people will be sensitized to wear masks, wash their hands and keep their surroundings clean.

The order issued by the District Magistrate also clarified that action would be taken against those violating the declared restrictions on seclusion and social distance under the Disaster Management Act 2005 and the Indian Penal Code.
