920 corona victims returned home after recovery

Total 30587 samples taken so far in the district

Bathinda, August 22(Jagmeet chahal)

          District Deputy Commissioner Shri. B. Srinivasan said that so far 30587 samples have been taken in the district under COVID-19 out of which a total of 1891 positive cases have been reported, out of which 920 corona victims have recovered and returned to their homes. He also informed that at present a total of 684 cases are active in the district and 264 cases have been shifted to other districts. In addition, 23 corona affected people have died in the district so far.

The Deputy Commissioner further said that in the last 24 hours, 59 positive, 360 negative and 71 corona affected patients returned home after recovery.
