The Finance Minister Inaugurated various projects in the city

An Industrial Park would soon be set up here covering an area of 1320 acres which would take Bathinda a long way in the field of Industrial Revolution. This information was given by the Finance Minister. Manpreet Singh Badal while Interacting with the media after Inaugurating various projects here.Meanwhile, Finance Minister S. Mr. Badal also inaugurated the installation of LED lights in the city at Hoi at Fire Brigade Chowk here. After inaugurating the lighting project, he said that at a cost of Rs. 16.6 crore in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation Bathinda, about 24,000 LEDs were installed on the streets and turns of the entire city. The lights are on. These lights will save electricity where there is more light.He also clarified that the LEDs to be installed The lights will be computerized and no one will have to complain about their malfunction but only the person sitting in the control room will be able to fix them.Meanwhile, Finance Minister S. Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal inaugurated the newly constructed Water Treatment Plant at Industrial Growth Center here at a cost of Rs. 1.91 crore.
After inspecting the treatment plant, Finance Minister Mr. Badal said that this plant has the capacity to provide 5 million gallons of clean water per day. The commissioning of this treatment plant will provide clean drinking water to about 1.5 lakh population.
Earlier, Finance Minister S. Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal also inaugurated the newly constructed park with pop up sprinkler system and CCTV cameras at Guru Ki Nagri here. He said that at a cost of Rs. 1.25 crore various other parks were being set up in the city in which pop up sprinkler system and CCTV cameras were being installed.Earlier, Finance Minister S. Mr. Badal inaugurated the newly constructed Fadi Market at a cost of Rs. 155 lakh at Anaj Mandi here.273 new traps have been made in this market.

On the occasion Commissioner Municipal Corporation Mr. Bikramjit Singh Shergill, Chairman Municipal Improvement Trust Mr. K.K. Agarwal, Chairman Market Committee Mr. Mohan Lal Jhumba, Mr. Arun Wadhawan, Mr. Pawan Mani, Mr. Tahil Singh Sandhu, Mr. Anil Bhola besides other personalities were present.
