Seva kendra will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The decision was made in view of the weather.

Deputy Commissioner B Srinivasan said that the working hours of all the Seva kendra in the district have been changed from August 1.This change has been made as per the guidelines received by the state government in view of the weather.At present a total of 33 Seva kendra are providing their services in the district, out of which one is related to district level, 21 to block level and 11 to rural area.
The Deputy Commissioner said that from August 1, the opening hours of the Seva kendra would be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.Earlier, this time was from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm due to hot weather.The Deputy Commissioner further said that in view of the plight of the general public, there will now be two lunch breaks. The first lunch break will be from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm and the second from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. These two lunch breaks have been used in such a way that work can be continued at half counters of the Seva kendra from 1 pm to 2 pm.
Deputy Commissioner B Srinivasan appealed to the people of the district to ensure that their services were availed in the Seva kendra as per the newly fixed schedule in view of the weather.
